Yes, You CAN Be Whatever You Want to Be!

studentsSometimes people have “traditional” ideas about the kinds of jobs women and men are “supposed” to have.

What are called “non-traditional” careers for men or women are careers where more than 75% of the workforce is of the opposite gender.

Entering such a career can be challenging, but it can also mean big rewards for you.

The fact is, you can be whatever you dream of being.

And that doesn't mean you can be anything that a woman can be or anything a man can be...there's no difference!  Just because there aren't many men that work in a certain industry or job field, doesn't mean a man can't or shouldn't work in that job.

Women can be engineers, scientists and airline pilots.  Men can be nurses.  Women can be head chefs.  Men can be teachers.

Check out the links at the left to learn more about what non-traditional careers are, the advantages to being in them, how you can prepare yourself NOW, and where you can get more information.
